Criminal Justice students gear up for firefighter training

Criminal Justice students from Pinellas Park Middle experienced what it's like to fight on the front line. The group of eighth-graders took a field trip to St. Petersburg College Fire and Public Safety Training Center. Student leaders encouraged to assist their homeless peers

Members from the district's Homeless Education Assistance Team attended this month's Students Rights and Responsibilities Committee meeting to speak about the district's homeless students. The team members encouraged the student leadership group to organize an activity or program during the month of November that could bring more awareness and assistance to the district's homeless students.
