Families were able to make donations for the school’s Toys for Joy program supporting families at the school, as well as canned food donations to support our community. Staff came for an Ugly Sweater competition, and everyone had an amazing time. #OrangeGroveStrong
Ozona Elementary Student Council participated in a canned food drive to benefit Feast Foodbank of Palm Harbor.  We collected over 3800 pounds of food, with over 1900 items collected. Ozona Elementary Student Council participated in a canned food drive to benefit Feast Foodbank of Palm Harbor. We collected over 3800 pounds of food, with over 1900 items collected. This will feed approximately 600 people. Mrs. Swind's 4th grade class collected 519 of the items and went above and beyond to collect items for the annual food drive this year. Inspired by incentives from the teacher, the class challenged themselves at each turning point to collect more. It was close to be the number one donator! The reward? The winner gets to teach science to the class! Top contenders battled it out, with Marianna Funderburk over taking Will Stepler on the final day with 123 items. Stepler had donated 110.

Seminole Middle
Seminole Middle School’s annual Foster Angel Outreach program was a huge success! The school partnered with Eckerd Connects to collect wish items for children in the foster care system. Seminole Middle families and staff members participated to make sure each “angel” was adopted. Monetary donations were also collected and extra gift cards were given to Eckerd Connects to help even more children.
